Please review your Precare thoroughly, as failing to follow our recommendations may prevent your treatment from proceeding, and you may lose your booking fee.
Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers will not be administered if you have had any vaccines, immunizations, procedures, illnesses, infections or dental work in the past two weeks or Antibiotics in the past 3 weeks. Please inform us as soon as possible if anything changes post booking.
• You cannot have dermal fillers if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are allergic to any of the ingredients or are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms.
• To minimize bleeding and bruising at the injection site, please avoid all blood-thinning medications and supplements for one week prior to your appointment. This includes over-the-counter medication.

Do not drink alcoholic beverages 72 hours before or after your treatment.

Please avoid caffeine prior to your appointment including Coffees, Teas and energy drinks.

Ensure you have eaten something substantial prior to your appointment.
• Please inform us if you have a history of Perioral Herpes so we are able to advise anti viral medication pre treatment. (Aciclovir tablets, take these two days prior to treatment and 5 days post)
• Avoid topical products such as Tretinoin (Retin-A) retinols, retinoids, glycolic acid, and alpha hydroxy acid.

We advise you purchase Numbing cream and apply this generously 60 minutes before treatment. (We have attached a link in the email.

Please do not come wearing makeup in the treatment area, you may be turned away.
Laser Hair Removal

The area of treatment should be shaved as well as possible at least 12-24 hours prior to treatment.

Wear loose-fitting clothes on the day (We would advise avoiding leggings, jeans or gym wear!)

Avoid alcohol or smoking the night before and on the day of the treatment.

Drink at least 1 litre of water the day before and the day of treatment - this helps your body to regulate its temperature.

Do not exercise before the treatment.

Avoid applying any products on areas of treatment, keep it dry and clean prior to treatment.

Do not expose the skin to UV light (sunlight or sunbeds) or apply any self-tanning products for 8 weeks prior to treatment.

Shower thoroughly the morning before your appointment

We get that sometimes mother nature shows up unexpectedly! If you are menstruating at your Bikini Laser appointment please ensure you pop a tampon in prior. We are happy to treat you as long as you are comfortable!

Tattoo Removal

Eat a full meal or snack before your appointment. Clients sometimes get light-headed. Ensure you have had plenty of fluids

If you’re a smoker, consider quitting. Cigarette smoke slows healing and increases the risk of complications

Avoid sun exposure, use sunscreen, and cover-up for four weeks prior to your first laser tattoo removal session.

Wear loose-fitting clothing over the area to be treated

You may want to take Paracetamol prior to your appointment to help elevate pain.

Avoid taking aspirin and ibuprofen: They may cause you to bruise after your treatment

Make sure the area to be treated is clean and free of lotions, perfumes, and cosmetics

Avoid alcohol 48 hours prior to your appointment

You may wish to apply an ice pack on the area prior to treatment, we may offer you this in clinic, however you may want additional numbing time.

Do not apply numbing cream, your treatment will not be able to go ahead!
